01The problem

Your happiest customer leaves without writing a review. Three days later, your one unhappy customer publishes a 1-star rant on Google.

Asking for Google reviews works. The problem is friction: customers don't know what to write, your card has a long URL nobody types, and the Google review form feels like a school assignment. ReviewBoost replaces all of that with a sticker — one QR per branch — and an AI that drafts a real, human-sounding review in your customer's own language. They tap, edit a sentence, post. Average ratings climb because honest happy customers actually finish the journey.

02Inside ReviewBoost

Every module that ships. Minor to minor.

12 modules out of the box. No hidden tier gates on basic functionality. No half-built features waiting on a roadmap.

QR code generator

Dynamic QR with high error-correction (works on dirty stickers), 600px PNG export, optional centre logo. Per-branch globally unique slugs at /r/[slug].

  • Per-touchpoint variants (counter / table / packaging / WhatsApp) tagged in the URL
  • Branded landing page with logo, address, phone, WhatsApp link

Customer landing page (no login)

Customer scans, picks a star rating, picks a language, picks a tone. AI templates appear instantly. One tap deep-links to your Google review form with the chosen text pre-filled.

AI review template engine (Gemini Flash)

Five tones × three lengths × four rating buckets = 60+ templates per business. Cached at signup, regenerable on demand at ₹0.05 per call.

  • Tones: Professional, Friendly, Premium, Luxury, Casual
  • Lengths: short ~30 / medium ~80 / long ~150 words
  • Rating-aware: low / mid / high get different sentiment
  • Per-business keywords (e.g. 'ambiance', 'dosa quality') feed the prompt

Eight native scripts

English, Hindi, Gujarati, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic (right-to-left, fully supported). Customers pick a script before they pick a template.

Private feedback inbox

If a 1–3★ rating triggers private feedback (alongside the still-visible Google link), the message lands here. Categories (service, staff, price, waiting time, quality), filter by Resolved/Unresolved, mark resolved. Never published, never shared with Google.

AI feedback reply generator (Pro)

Three reply styles per feedback item — Empathetic, Action-Oriented, Brief. Owner picks one, edits, sends manually via WhatsApp. Never auto-sent.

WhatsApp review request (Pro)

Direct WhatsApp message with QR link + personalised message. India phone normalisation (+91 auto-prefix). 24-hour customer-window compliant. Touchpoint = 'whatsapp' tags inbound scans separately.

Analytics dashboard

Total scans, Google clicks, conversion rate (clicks ÷ scans), submissions, private feedback. Per-touchpoint scan distribution. Daily time-series chart. Per-rating breakdown.

Multi-branch / multi-location

One business owns many ReviewBusinesses (locations / branches). Pricing tier gates the count: 1 free, 3 starter, 10+ pro, custom enterprise.

Tone & keywords editor

Set default tone, allowed languages, key talking points. The AI uses these as prompt anchors so suggestions sound like your business, not generic.

Public review page (per branch)

Brand-ready landing per QR. Logo, business name, category, address, phone, WhatsApp tap-to-call. Mobile-first; loads in under a second on 4G.

Google policy safe by design

All star ratings see the Google review CTA — no review gating, ever. Private feedback is offered alongside, never as a detour. Templates are suggestions; the customer freely edits before posting.

03How it works

Day in the life. Step by step.

Real flows from real customers. Read the one closest to your role; the others give you a sense of how the whole platform fits together.

Customer

From sticker to posted review in 30 seconds

  1. 1Customer scans the QR sticker on the cafe counter.
  2. 2Lands on the branch's review page, picks 5 stars.
  3. 3Picks Hindi as the script and Friendly tone.
  4. 4Sees three 80-word templates that mention 'masala dosa' and 'quick service'.
  5. 5Edits a line, taps Post on Google, lands in the Google review form with text pre-filled.
  6. 6Submits — Google has a fresh review; ReviewBoost logs the click.
Owner setting up

Five-minute branch launch

  1. 1Sign up, enter business name, category, services, keywords.
  2. 2Paste Google review URL (g.page/...).
  3. 3Pick languages (English + Hindi + Gujarati).
  4. 4AI auto-generates 60+ templates in the background.
  5. 5Download the QR PNG with logo in the centre.
  6. 6Print as a sticker for the counter, table tents, packaging.
Owner with unhappy feedback

Recovering a 1-star intent

  1. 1Customer rates 1 star, sees Google link AND private feedback form.
  2. 2Customer types: 'Cold parathas, very long wait.'
  3. 3Owner sees the entry in the Inbox; categorised as Quality + Waiting Time.
  4. 4Pro user generates three reply styles; picks Action-Oriented.
  5. 5Edits, taps Send via WhatsApp — message opens with the reply pre-filled.
  6. 6Customer replies thanking the owner; visits next week and leaves a 5-star.
Multi-branch owner

Salon chain with three branches

  1. 1One Capturo business, three ReviewBusinesses (Koramangala, Indiranagar, Whitefield).
  2. 2Each gets its own QR with its own slug + Google review URL.
  3. 3Per-touchpoint tags differentiate counter / waiting-area / WhatsApp scans.
  4. 4Owner compares conversion rate by branch — Whitefield converts at 32%, Koramangala at 12%.
  5. 5Drills in: Koramangala's QR is a too-small sticker on the receipt; replaces with table-tent. Conversion doubles.

04Why this and not the other one

What makes it different. Specifically.

No review gating, ever

Hiding bad reviews from Google violates policy and gets your profile suspended. ReviewBoost shows the Google CTA on every rating from 1 to 5 — private feedback is offered alongside, never instead.

Eight native scripts, including Hindi & Gujarati

Birdeye and Podium are English-heavy. Indian customers leave better reviews when they're written in the language they actually think in. Arabic is right-to-left throughout.

AI templates, not fabrications

Templates are starter text the customer edits before posting. They're suggestions, not auto-published reviews — fully Google-policy compliant.

Per-touchpoint conversion analytics

Counter, table tent, packaging, WhatsApp — each gets a touchpoint key in the URL. Know which placement actually drove the review, not just total scans.

Free for every Capturo customer

If you already use BizSweet, Restaurant POS or Capturo HMS, ReviewBoost is bundled. Standalone pricing starts where most platforms charge their highest tier.

05Built right

Engineering that earns. Audit-grade by default.

The boring parts done well — multi-tenancy, audit trail, compliance, real-time updates, secure storage. So the interesting parts can stay interesting.

Gemini Flash on demand

Templates cached on the business doc, regenerated only when keywords change. ₹0.05 per regenerate vs ₹50+ per 1,000 customers if generated per-scan.

Event-sourced analytics

ReviewScan / ReviewSubmission / ReviewFeedback as immutable event logs; counters denormalised on the business doc for instant dashboard reads.

Rate-limited auth

Login limiter (15 reqs / 15 min), helmet headers, JWT secret per stack. No shared secrets across Capturo products.

No PII in scan logs

Phone numbers only stored in private feedback (opt-in) and WhatsApp logs. Scan and submission events carry no personal data.

06Questions buyers actually ask

FAQ

Will Google ban my profile for using this?
No. ReviewBoost shows the Google CTA on every rating, doesn't pre-write fake reviews, and asks the customer to edit before posting. We deliberately do not implement review gating because Google forbids it.
How does the AI know what my business does?
At signup you give it your business name, category, services and keywords ('masala dosa', 'fast service'). The AI uses those as anchors when drafting templates.
Will customers really edit before they post?
Most do, because the template feels like a starter, not a finished review. The 'Post on Google' button drops them into the Google review form with the text already typed in — they can change a single word or rewrite it entirely.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
Yes — ReviewBoost deep-links to your existing Google review form. If you don't have a profile yet, we link to docs to set one up first.
What's the difference between scans and submissions?
Scan = QR opened. Submission = customer picked a rating. Google click = customer tapped Post on Google. Conversion rate is Google clicks ÷ scans.
Can I have separate QRs for counter, table, packaging?
Yes — Pro tier supports per-touchpoint variants. Each variant is the same review page but with a touchpoint tag, so analytics show which placement drives the most clicks.
What languages are supported?
English, Hindi, Gujarati, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic — all rendered in their native scripts.
How does the WhatsApp request work?
On Pro, you can type a customer phone number; ReviewBoost opens WhatsApp with a personalised message + your QR link. India numbers auto-prefix with +91.
