EMR / EHR
Electronic Medical Record / Electronic Health Record, the digital chart of a patient's encounters, vitals, prescriptions, lab results and history, replacing paper case sheets.
IPD & OPD
In-Patient Department (patients admitted to beds) and Out-Patient Department (patients seen and sent home the same day). Hospitals run both; clinics are usually OPD-only.
TPA claim
